The Definition of Pro Life
Human life and personhood begin at conception/fertilization whether this takes
place inside or outside the womb. Consequently, there are no circumstances which
could ever justify an abortion. Physical and/or chemical agents, and scientific
practices or experiments which terminate the life of an embryonic or fetal human
person inside or outside the womb are abortifacients, i.e. they cause the death
of that person. Abortion in the United States and in the world will be ended by
God; however, as God's creatures we are obligated to strive for this end without
compromise or exception. Human life is sacred from conception until natural
death. Pray for an end to abortion.
Our
Philosophy Concerning Businesses Listed with Us.
Our assumption is that any business which pays for a listing on
ProlifePages.com is in fact sincere in its claim to be
prolife. This, partly because any business which lists with
us is obviously willing to be labeled as prolife, and partly because
Prolife Pages has disclosed that a significant portion of the listing
fees charged will be transferred to our Prolife Pages Charitable Fund,
and used to support worthy prolife causes around the country.

The
Structure of Our Organization
The Founders of Prolife Pages, LLC originally desired to set up
prolifepages.com as a non-profit organization, tax-exempt under
§501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The obvious
benefit would be that revenues could be generated and grown on a tax
free basis, thus providing greater funding of worthy prolife causes.
It was subsequently determined that prolifepages.com could not obtain
organizational non-profit status, because it could not satisfy a
critical IRS criterion. In order to qualify for non-profit
status, an organization’s revenues must predominantly be
generated through donations. While other prolife
organizations depend almost exclusively on donations, ProlifePages was
structured so that it did not need to rely on donations. The
bulk of the revenues generated by Prolife Pages would be attributable
to the sale of listings and advertisements.
Hence, Prolife Pages, LLC had to be set up as a “for
profit” limited liability company. However, the
founders are determined to run Prolife Pages similar to a non-profit
organization. They have no intention to exploit the
tragedy of abortion for personal aggrandizement, but instead are wholly
committed to using the profits generated by the organization for the
funding and promotion of worthy prolife causes. This is the
reason the founders also created the Prolife Pages Charitable Fund,
which is a tax-exempt, non-profit fund which can accept tax-deductible
contributions from businesses and individuals.
Finally, it should be noted that the cost of purchasing a listing or
advertisement with prolifepages.com is still tax-deductible (not
because Prolife Pages is a non-profit organization, but rather because
advertising costs are tax-deductible as a business expense).
